Blackhand Gorge

I went for a hike today at the Blackhand Gorge nature preserve just east of Newark (OH).  I’ve got quite a few photos I’m working through yet – I’ll get them posted to the gallery as soon as I can.  In the meantime, here’s a photo of a quarry just off the route of the old Ohio-Erie canal.  The canal’s fallen into disuse and disrepair, but there are still some pretty interesting remnants laying about if you look for them a bit.
