Tahquamenon Falls
Here’s a photo I took on vacation back in 2004 at Tahquamenon Falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Tahquamenon Falls is a wonderful park with a number of falls of varying size. The brown coloring of the water is due to tannins in the water, giving it a great coffee-like tint.
This photo was taken with my old Canon G3, which served me well in the time I owned it. Despite “only” 4MP resolution, this camera was a joy to use; I’d recommend it it highly as a backup or travel camera.
